Curtin University – EPC Capital Campaign

Curtin University – EPC Capital Campaign

In an economy driven by minerals and energy, few skills are more important to industry than those of its engineers. Recognised as a primary source of the State’s engineering graduates, Curtin University commenced the evolution of its engineering program with the development of a $32.5 million Engineering Pavilion Complex (EPC), which provided resources for problem-based learning and the facilitation of greater interaction between students, faculty, research and industry. To support the large capital raising campaign, REB Design was commissioned to design a document which would have retention value, showcase the sustainable energy efficient features of the complex and highlight the facilities deemed necessary to produce engineers of a calibre increasingly demanded by state, national and global industries.

Saverglass

Saverglass

Saverglass is synonymous with the production of exceptionally high quality bottles for the wine and spirit industries across the globe. Be it lightweight, heavyweight, decorated or proprietary, the company's production facilities across France have set and maintained a standard that is second to none. As part of their promotional strategy, Saverglass Australia and Saverglass New Zealand, commissioned REB Design to develop a campaign that would allude to the gamut and quality of bottles produced. The somewhat esoteric image of a bottle wrapped in heavy art paper, provides a focal point against a 'cocktail lounge' backdrop of fluorescent bottle shapes. The imagery was also utilised internationally by Saverglass France.

Wesbeam

Wesbeam

“Building better wood.” In a nutshell, that’s what Wesbeam does at its laminated veneer lumber plant, some 30 kilometres north of Perth. The development of the Wesbeam brand identity, positioning statement, sub-brands, trade advertising and marketing material, was the first stage of a very strong and memorable branding strategy for this pioneering enterprise. As with most clients, REB Design studied competitors in the marketplace and took time to understand Wesbeam’s product attributes and USP’s – “engineered to load, engineered to length, engineered to last … end of story.”

Australia West - Dominion of Wine

Australia West - Dominion of Wine

The mark of a better drop - ‘Australia West – Dominion of Wine’, was an innovative marketing strategy developed for the Wine Industry Association of Western Australia, to generate greater global awareness of West Australian wines and to leverage off the region’s unique attributes. The purple brand mark, reminiscent of a wine drop, was crafted to mimic the shape of the greater Australian land mass - the ‘Dominion of Wine’ unabashedly pinpointed with an ‘X’. Taking ownership of the colour purple was seen as fundamental to the brands success. The application of the purple hue and the identity to a surreal advertising campaign afforded the brand enormous potential, particularly with its ability to leverage off the state’s world-renowned pristine environment.
