NEW NORCIA BAKERIESNew Norcia Bakeries has a well-established reputation as Western Australia's finest artisan bakers. The company utilises a large, modern commercial baking facility for the production of its range of highly regarded breads, but strategically maintains the baking of its traditional panforté and biscotti products in a century old wood-fired oven, located in a Benedictine monastery in New Norcia. A sharp decline in retail sales of the wood-fired products prompted the company to commission REB Design to develop a range of packaging, which highlighted the gourmet status of the products and in turn, dramatically increased sales nationally. |
